Information you give us

Forms. When you send a reservation request, a message or a puppy inquiry, we collect your name, email, phone number and anything you write, such as the puppy you're interested in, your contact preferences and details about your home.
Accounts. If you create an account, we store your email, name and phone number. Your password is stored by our sign-in provider in encrypted form; we never see it.

We do not take payments on this website. Deposits and payments are handled directly with our staff.

Information collected automatically

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located (city or region), the device and browser used, and when someone taps a call or WhatsApp button or sends a form. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We do not use it to collect your name, email or phone number.
Sign-in cookies. If you sign in, we use cookies to keep you signed in. These are required for accounts to work.

To meet legal requirements, such as the records Florida law requires for puppy sales

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run the site for us:

Supabase, which stores form submissions and accounts
Amazon Web Services, which hosts the website and delivers the email notifications our staff receive
Google, which provides Google Analytics and our business email

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our puppies or our business.

Your choices

Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on. The site still works without analytics cookies.
Access, correction and deletion. Email puppies@puppyera.com to ask what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.
Do Not Track. Our site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

How long we keep it

At Puppy Era, we retain customer information only as long as reasonably necessary for business operations, customer service, and compliance with applicable laws.

General inquiries, messages, and uncompleted reservation requests are typically retained for up to two years.

Records associated with completed puppy purchases, including required sales documentation, veterinary records, and customer disclosures, are maintained for at least seven years in accordance with Florida law.

We take reasonable measures to protect customer information and securely dispose of records when they are no longer required.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to your information to Puppy Era staff. No website can promise perfect security, so please don't send sensitive details such as card numbers through our forms.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
